JCV & Associates (JCVA), a 100% Filipino-owned project management and construction consultancy, was named Grand Winner of SME Company of the Year at the 17th Asia CEO Awards, held in Manila on October 13, 2026.
The recognition came in JCVA’s third year at the awards, at a defining moment for the firm. After twelve years of delivering projects across the Philippines, JCVA has taken its next step. This year, it began bringing the standards it built on Philippine projects to clients overseas.
Both milestones trace back to how JCVA started. The firm was founded on a simple belief: Filipino expertise can deliver at a world-class standard. This award recognizes that belief at home. JCVA’s new work overseas is now proving it abroad.
The weight of that recognition lies in how it is earned.
Now in its 17th edition, the Asia CEO Awards is one of the Philippines’ most established business recognitions. Each year, it brings more than 1,200 business leaders together in Manila to honor the companies and executives shaping the country’s economy.
Every nomination is reviewed by PwC, the global professional services firm and the awards’ official knowledge partner. A board of judges from business, government, and industry then chooses the winners. This year, more than 700 nominations competed across 15 categories, and each category named only one Grand Winner.
JCVA’s recognition has grown with each year it has taken part. In 2024, its founder, Engr. Jason C. Valderrama, was named to the Circle of Excellence for Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2025, JCVA was named to the Circle of Excellence for SME Company of the Year. This year, it was named the category’s Grand Winner, with each step building on the one before.

In mid-2026, JCVA began offering that same care and transparency to clients overseas. Its teams in the Philippines now provide quantity surveying, BIM, project planning, and sustainability services for projects abroad.
The first project is the major renovation of a tertiary hospital in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Hospital projects need careful control of cost, schedule, and coordination. This makes the project an important first step for JCVA’s work abroad.
